Dr Jo Daniels is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bath and UKRI Policy Follow at the Department for Health and Social Care, leading on Area of Research Interest three, Public Health, Health and Social Care Workforce. Dr Daniels was awarded the Society for Occupational Medicine award for outstanding contribution to research in 2023 in relation to her work in mental health and psychological care pathway development, and her research and policy activity in workforce was further recognised by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2025 with a prestigious Honorary Fellowship. She has had extensive experience in research and policy settings, public engagement and subject matter expertise in workforce and mental health. Dr Daniels is a practicing Clinical Psychologist and incoming Faculty Director of Partnership, Engagement and Impact at the University of Bath.
