Louise Hancock

Dr Louise Hancock is a Consultant Occupational Health Physician and Acting Medical Director at Medigold Health. She was previously Lead Medical Review Officer and, in 2020, was appointed Chief Medical Officer for two publicly listed companies. Her current practice encompasses pensions, MRO work, aviation medicine, and complex case management.

She serves as Honorary Secretary of the Occupational Medicine Section at the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM).

Alongside her occupational health work, Dr Hancock is an Honorary Specialty Doctor in Medical Oncology at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, where she treats patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. She trained to ST5 level in medical oncology at The Royal Marsden and Imperial College London.

Dr Hancock was awarded the Peter Taylor Award for her MSc dissertation at the University of Manchester, titled “A Mixed Methods Study of Infection Risk in Patients with Solid Tumours in the Workplace.” She presented this research at Occupational Health 2025 in Belfast and the Health and Wellbeing at Work event in March 2025.
