Jo’s enthusiasm for occupational therapy is infectious. She is a proud advocate for her profession. She is often found explaining occupational therapy concepts to anyone who shows an interest. She is passionate about vocation as this is the foundation of her profession.
She has worked with a wide range of large and small OH providers to deliver OH and VR interventions including neurodivergence screening and support, cognitive assessments, mental health, vision and hearing as well as complex physical health, DSE and ergonomic assessments.
She is a Matheson-trained Functional Capacity Evaluator and undertake functional assessments to ascertain a person’s ability and capacity to undertake work and meaningful activity.
As well as clinical work, she offers a recruitment service and consultancy to businesses that want to add OT skills into their occupational health offer, and to businesses that already have OTs and want to be able to offer occupational health services.
