Annika Lindberg

Annika Lindberg is Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over two decades of clinical experience specialising in the treatment of addiction.  Her expertise encompasses in particular gambling addiction but also alcohol and drug addictions. She joined the National Problem Gambling clinic in London UK as one of the first clinicians when they opened their doors in 2010.

In 2014 she set up the first CBT service for staff within the Occupational health department at Guys and St Thomas’s hospital, a role that also involved educating the wider trust on mental wellbeing and stress management.

She has authored numerous articles and a few book chapters on gambling addiction and has also presented at various international conferences including European safer gambling Association, Gaming in EU and the Royal College of Psychiatrists Faculty of addictions.

Annika currently works in private practice in Mayfair, London and maintains a strong online presence where she offers insight and resources on addiction recovery and mental wellbeing to clients and their loved ones. She also consults businesses and organisations on wellbeing matters and education and awareness about addictions.

She is a gambling expert for Mindway AI, an AI firm that specialises in gambling prevention software and is also a Trustee at the board for Gordon Moody Association, a charity that offers residential rehab for severely addicted gamblers.
