Janet O’Neill

Janet O'Neill is an experienced UK occupational health nurse specialist who serves as the Deputy Head of the National School of Occupational Health (NSOH).

Appointed to the deputy leadership position in July 2022, she plays a central strategic role in driving workforce development, education, and multi-disciplinary training initiatives across the occupational health sector.

As Deputy Head, she helps oversee the strategic growth of the school—which operates as part of NHS England (formerly Health Education England) in partnership with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.

Her focus lies primarily on expanding the workforce and designing pathways for nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).
