Dr Michael Kinney trained in Neurology in Northern Ireland, undertook a 6 month sabbatical at the Langone Medical Centre, Comprehensive Epilepsy Centre in New York City, and completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology (with a focus on EEG and complex epilepsy) at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is a consultant neurologist and subspecialist in epilepsy in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
